Coastside Cabinets
offers both face-framed and frameless types of cabinetry construction. Either
construction type can provide a traditional or a contemporary look.
With face framed cabinets, the exposed edges of the boxes are covered with
flat (face) frames. The doors may be set into the frames (inset), or overlay
them. The hinges are attached to the frames and doors.
On frameless (also called European, or full-access) cabinets, the exposed
edges of the box are covered with edge banding and the doors cover nearly
the entire case. The hinges are attached to the doors and the sides or ends
of the boxes.
