Environmental Stewardship Program:
Columbia Cabinets has been awarded the prestigious certification in the
Environmental Stewardship Program, which is administered by the Kitchen
Cabinet Manufacturer's Association. As an option, Columbia offers
cabinet construction which complies with the California Air Resource Board
standards set for 2012 formaldehyde emissions.
Columbia
offers a diverse selection of wood species and finishes, available as
standard.
Light or heavy distressing can be applied to wood doors. Doors are also
available in wood veneers, melamine , MDF, laminate and aluminum with
glass.
Wood Species:
Maple, Clear and Knotty Alder, Red Oak, Cherry, Knotty and Clear Hickory,
Rift White Oak
Finishes:
Stains, Glazes (Black, Chocolate and White Chalk), Paints (Whites,
Off-Whites, Greens, Blues, Reds) - available as standard. Columbia will also do custom
finishes, color matches.
Columbia offers semi-custom, made-to-order cabinetry. Cabinets are made in
British Columbia, just a few miles from the U.S. border, with frameless
(European style) type construction.
Columbia Cabinets have been
manufacturing cabinets for over 35 years. Columbia craftsmen, many
with over 20 years of experience in cabinetmaking, work out of a modern,
high tech 100,000 sq. ft. plant.
Over 35 door styles are each available in up to 7 different door edge profiles.
